Sandy Denny was born 6th January, 1947 and died 21st April, 1978 following a fall down a flight of stairs. Like so many other talented people she battled her inner demons and was lost to us at far too young an age.
In my humble opinion, Sandy was the greatest singer/songwriter of my generation.
