Not someone I'm familiar with Tom, since becoming internet buddies I have been introduced to and discovered many Dutch bands so time to get to know the late Oscar Benton.  :(

Oscar Benton (Ferdinand van Eis) was predomantly gigging in The Netherlands.
Ferdinand did have an international hit with the a cover of an American song; [Bensonhurst Blues] in 1973.

I had a listen to a best of and Bensonhurst Blues was on it great song as with the rest of the album.
