RAM:
In 1947, almost five years before becoming queen, the 21-year-old Elizabeth promised the people of Britain and the Commonwealth that “my whole life, whether it be long or short, shall be devoted to your service”. In 2022, I say "thank you, promise fulfilled."
MrPurser:
We were in London in 2013 and watched her birthday parade down Pall Mall - managed to catch a glimpse of her in her golden carriage - R.I.P. Ma'am - you were truly the greatest U.K Monarch.
Beergut:
I don't think we can truly grasp just how difficult being a British monarch can be. But Elizabeth brought her own immense charisma and dignity to the task.
Thank you for the 70 years you devoted to not just British subjects and the Commonwealth, but to the entire world.
You will be missed
