Just read that Roger Whittaker had passed on 13 September - a great voice and he had some great hits.
Another day - another song.

My lasting memory of Roger Whittaker is not his voice but his whistle in "Mexican Whistler" released in 1967. I still think it sounds great.

While I was never into Roger he was the generation before me but he was a master of his genre with a fine voice. :vsad: :vsad:

"The Last Farewell", whilst a bit MOR, was pretty good. Even Elvis did a live version.
