Marc Leon, who was born Friedrich Himmelsbach, passed away on Monday and is survived by his wife Glenys... Colleen Hewett's sister... and their two sons. Marc was a member of The Vibrants and Graduate back in the 60's-70's and had a long career playing primarily blues music. He was a very fine guitar player.
I had a bit to do with Marc when I sent him The Graduate material David Fraser recorded and I always found him to be a lovely bloke.
Marc's funeral will be held at 11.30am on October 10th, at Mulqueens Family Funerals in Bendigo. For anyone interested, a link to the service live stream will be provided via Facebook when it becomes available.
