then later,,, "Now i'm a vegetable"
the video clip was crazy too.

Yes, that is the single "Too Much Acid (It's A Bad Trip)" by The Pineapples From The Dawn Of Time, released in 1986. It was a Double A-Side single with "Saha (Maltese Kind Of Loving)".

"The Pineapples From The Dawn Of Time formed in 1985, out of the ashes of Brisbane's punk scene. The band members came from such outfits as Kicks, Riptides, The Ken Palmer Connection, Tex Deadly & The Dum Dums, and The Kingswood Trio. Often adorned in ridiculous costumes, the band played around Brisbane between 1985 and 1987 while gaining a cult following due to their onstage antics and songs about mass murderers, science fiction shows and drugs."

Both single tracks also appear on their 1987 LP "Shocker" which was re-mastered and re-released on CD in 2007.

Cheers

I saw these guys play around Brisbane a few times, nice harder edged Rock n Roll, I've no idea what happened to them, like me I suppose they grew up and had families.

Edit: Looks like they still get together every now and then.
