Thanks Tom. I hadn't caught up with the sad news... another piece of my childhood now gone.
-
Sad news indeed - a great artist taken too early.

You think someone is doing fine then bam out of nowhere gone sad news indeed only one left now. For a while there back in the day my fave band then the hard rock bands came but always a soft spot for them. :ssad: :vsad: :(

Yet another legendary musician has passed :vsad: who was a huge part of our adolescent years.
I quite enjoyed Nesmith's post Monkees releases - "Silver Moon", "Different Drum" and of course his 1976 hit "Rio" - such a talented musician.
RIP Michael Nesmith

A great loss. He was certainly a part of my childhood too. I enjoyed all the Monkees music and his latter releases as well. Sunset Sam is still one of my favourite songs.

:vsad: A well respected musician, not a great fan of the Monkees, but I did like a few of their songs
R.I.P Mike Nesmith.
