Title: Another longshot.
Post by: biGtop on Thu 30 May 2024 19:42:28
from sachabinky. (The member formerly known as)

I haven't been able to get this song out of my head for over 40 years.

I Managed to solve another mystery before with your help, from around the same time period
( second choice - by Any Trouble)

Here goes, with what i know anyway

Late 70's, Heavy Rock/Disco/Boogie type beat, where they sang "right now,  -- -- -- --I wanna"
into the chorus riff.
The spaces after the words right now, represent four double/double beats of a boogie type riff.
(128 bpm- SAME AS "i WAS MADE FOR LOVING YOU,- BUT THE CHORD PROGRESSION IS REVERSED)
The words - i wanna, might be wrong, but it might help identify.

Maybe someone will 'click'

Thanks for looking
Never found out who it was, but still hear it in my head constantly.

I know how irritating this is. I have a country pop tune in my head, which I heard in a bus in Armidale sometime in the nineties. in the third bar someone bends the string of a banjo. It's very annoying not to know what it is.
I hope someone comes to your rescue...
