I use this as a bookmark and never have a problem
Also I think we've all had those logon issues over the past couple of years, and as @johng and @Sunnytoo have stated it seems to be the 'not secure' protection within certain common internet browsers (http vs https) so removing the 'S' from the full site address is certainly the key.
